- Heat the butter in a microwave.

- Using a hand mixer, beat on low speed butter with brown and white sugars.

- Add the vanilla, salt, and egg.

- Beat on low speed until just incorporated for 10-15 seconds. If you beat the egg for too long, the cookies will be stiff.

- Add sifted flour and baking soda.

- Mix to create a crumble form.

- Add semi-sweet chocolate chips.

- Incorporate with a spatula or your hands.

- Use an ice cream spoon to form balls.

- Places balls on a parchment sheet. Bake at 350℉ for 11-12 minutes until slightly golden and puffy.
